What this site keeps.

This site is run by Digiital Pty Ltd (ABN 48 650 151 778), trading as Steven Wade. It collects three things: how the pages get used, what you send through the contact form, and your email address if you join the letter. This is what happens to each.

01

Who holds it.

Digiital Pty Ltd, trading as Steven Wade. I read and answer every enquiry myself. Questions about anything on this page go to steven@digiital.agency.

02

Analytics.

The site uses Google Analytics 4. It counts page views, shows which pages and links people arrive from, and records when the contact form is sent and which offer it was about. It also sees your device, browser and a rough location worked out from your IP address; Google doesn't store the IP address itself. GA4 sets cookies so it can tell a return visit from a new one. It never receives your name, email or message.

You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out add-on.

03

The contact form.

What you type into the form, and the offer you pick, goes to Netlify, which hosts this site and its forms, and from there to my inbox. I use it to reply to you and to scope the work. I don't add you to a mailing list, and I don't sell or share your details. The letter sign-up on the home page works the same way: your email address goes to Netlify and my inbox, and I use it only to send the letter. Reply to any letter, or email me, and I'll take you off.

04

Where it's stored.

Google and Netlify can store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Each handles it under its own privacy policy.

05

How long.

Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. Form submissions are deleted from Netlify after 12 months. If you hire me, the emails about the work become business records, and I keep them as long as the law requires those to be kept.

06

Seeing or deleting it.

Email steven@digiital.agency to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. I'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with the answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
